I tutor kids, mostly 4th-7th graders. This is what happened yesterday at one of my groups:

Me: So, do you guys have any questions about that quiz I just gave you all?
Kid #1: Do you work out?
Me: Uh… no… I probably should though.
Kid #2: But you’re so buff!
Kid #1: Yeah, how’d you get them so big!
Me: …

I either have…

a) kids who genuinely think I have buff arms
b) kids who are blind
c) kids who think that by telling me I have buff arms that I will give them higher grades which don’t matter because it’s just tutoring
c) kids who are extremely sarcastic and sadistic.

Yet ANOTHER reminder that I should go work out.
