We are so considerate

Unless you were hiding in a cave, you probably found out that USC slaughtered UCLA on Saturday. 66-19 is not a rivalry game, especially when they don’t even score until our 2nd and 3rd strings are playing.

Since a lot of people at Harvest LA have strong ties to UCLA, Peter and I felt that we should make it up to them somehow. And so, we bought Bruin bears and made them prettier for the three gals that currently attend UCLA, because otherwise there would be way too many of them and because the guys in Apartment 111 wouldn’t care at all.

Yilin’s bear has one ear missing. Actually, the ear isn’t missing, because the bear is holding its missing ear in its right paw. And it has a cheek pierce because those are cool. It also has a bloody knife (and I mean literally bloody, not the way English people mean it) going from its butt through its stomach.

Jenny’s bear is missing an eye, and its right paw will forever be touching its own butt area.

Jenny: where’s its eye!

Me: Uhm… go look at Sally’s…

Sally’s bear is the coolest of them all. It has three eyes, courtesy of Jenny’s bear. Plus, it has a flesh wound just above its tummy. And it had lots of pins sticking into it… which makes it useful like a pin cushion.

On the back of all three of their bears had numbers like 14, 19 and 21 (major players of UCLA’s team) and Yilin, Jenny, and Sally’s last names.

Needless to say, we spent a lot of time on them and hope that they enjoy them very much.
