Right Back Where We Started From

You might ask yourself, “What happened to this site?” or “What’s with the weird colors?” or “Site? Changed? Ja?” And all I have to say is that…
I didn’t get it in the mail yet. But I had to call and find out cause I had a conflicting scholarship situation with a different school and had to find out fast. Either way, let me quote the words of that popular song from the O.C.
California, here we come. Right back where we started from. Californiaaaaaaa.
USC. Annenberg School for Communications. Class of ‘09.

Wasn’t expecting to receive notification today, but then again, I never expected notification from any of the schools I applied to and received information. I guess this is a wrap-up with my college admission letters. Just to summarize the past hm… month and a half (I think?), got into the respective journalism schools of (in order of notification dates): University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Southern California, University of Maryland at College Park, and Northwestern University.
There might be some very good news tomorrow. I dearly hope that it comes with every fiber in my being. I’d even be willing to give up my korean girlfriend. That’s how much I want it to come.
Edit-There might be some very good news Wednesday.
Two More Months

Senior banquet was fun. Tiring after a disappointing volleyball game, but fun. It somehow hit me while watching the slideshow that we’ll all be heading our separate ways very, very soon. I guess I could see how some peeps would see it as a sad thing, but I think it’s really awesome. We’re being released into the wild. Into a world where we’re not always shielded by our parents, sympathetic teachers, and guidance counselors who look out for our best. Most of them time.
Anyway I don’t know where I’m going with this. I should be finishing my essay. It’s due in.. uh… 12 hours ish… but more like 10 because I have to go and hear a physics lecture. Yay senior skip day! But boo the certain classes I should still attend.
Thanks ‘05 for the senior superlatives: most hardworking, most likely to succeed, and most likely to become famous. Don’t know where the last one came from, but that’s cool. More thoughts later. Maybe.
